What is the GSRF Pet Assistance Program?

It all started when…

GSRF senior pets or pets with medical needs could not find loving homes simply because of the fear associated with the cost of their care. Some animals spent months in our care, waiting for their perfect home. Once we identified the main cause of not wanting an older pet or a pet with medical issues, we came up with a plan, a plan that offered financial help to lifelong guardians who were willing to step up and care for these pups until their last day. The program expanded when pet parents who adopted from GSRF were faced with a life-or-death situation. We stepped in when we could. To see someone struggling, knowing that they did all they could is heartbreaking. We cannot let that happen. Not today and not tomorrow.
